Description

Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting Category Manager to be based in Leeds for an initial period of 6 months + with possible extension.
Job Title: CIPS Category Manager
The Maximum Pay Rate: 360 per day
Location: Leeds
Contract Length: 6 months (with view to 3 month extension)
Clearance Level Required: BPSS
Additional Info: INSIDE IR35

Desirable: CIPS or IACCM qualifications

Key Tasks & Deliverables:

This will involve supplier management, verifying supplier performance and subsequent service credit payments, implementing commercial review boards with the supplier, managing contract change, and management of invoicing across the Authority and the associated agencies that this contract supports.
As a relatively new service, the role will support the development of new processes and ways of working, in particular between the Quality Assurance supplier and other Language Services suppliers.
The role will also establish and progress value for money initiatives and support the wider category objectives of developing market intelligence.

Experience Required:

Contract management, preferably in complex services requirements.
Supplier relationship management, evidencing creation and delivery of value within contract life.
Mobilisation of new services or requirements.
