Description
Web Infrastructure Security Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the finance sector.Your experience/skills:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or in a related principle
- At least 2 years' experience working in a similar position along with 8+ years' working experience in the IT sector
- Expertise in web and internet security technologies, such as SSL / TLS, Apache, etc., as well as familiarity with Linux or Unix including Shell and Perl
- Excellent knowledge of internet facing application components like web application firewalls, reverse / forward proxies and authentication servers like SAML, Web Access Management
- Deep understanding of security concepts (application security) along with very good communication skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Distributing security solutions for the internet facing infrastructure that runs in multiple data centers around the globe
- Ensuring that individual security solutions form an effective security system as a whole along with creating detailed solution designs that fit well into the established platforms and core eco-systems
- Assisting product management and solution architecture in identifying effective solutions as well as providing 3rd level engineering support for security products
- Defining use case, detailed technical specification and security baseline along with evaluating, designing and rating possible solutions and building a PoC
- Creating test plans and running them in addition to writing operational manual and training the operation team
- Managing unknown software issues / defects as well as reporting status / issues and project progress
