We are looking for 2 SharePoint Developer for a 3 year contract role. Based in Dublin City Centre
We are looking for SharePoint Developers to work in a shared service support environment for a governmental department. You will be working on a migration project from Lotus Notes.
As part of a team of 3 SharePoint Specialists and you will be responsible for:
- Provide weekly progress reports on work assigned
- Provide skills transfer to Departmental staff to allow long term support of new applications following handover into production
- Deal with the wider organisational staff
- Work with technical team to optimise and error-check all code
- Participate in the development of the SharePoint application life cycle maintenance processes
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation including design documents and support plans
- Participate in the development of content migration approaches for CMS, shared drives, and SharePoint
- Execute against project plans, scopes, schedules and budgets
- Prepare and communicate project reports recognising deviations from scope, and schedule, cost and implement remedial actions as required
- Participate in system testing and defect/issue resolution
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in the following:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in MS Visual Studio, or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years experience in designing/developing SharePoint Applications
- Appling current graphics design and ASP.NET & SQL Server technologies, or equivalent, to develop, modify and maintain SharePoint server portals.
- Designing, developing, and managing site content and capabilities and may be required to provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing portals/intranets.
- Participating in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
- Familiar with Digital standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Designing SharePoint solutions. Conducts maintenance and provision of support for SharePoint applications & troubleshooting.
- Working with project stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a certain degree of creativity and latitude.
- Deploying successful enterprise level applications using SharePoint.
- Has a good understanding of SharePoint technical architecture.
- Providing specialist advice to support others.
- Strong presentation and communication skills as they may be dealing with the wider organisational staff.
- Familiar with integrating SharePoint with other applications.
- Has practical web development experience (detailed examples should be provided).
