NextLink is a SAP Service Company created in 1996. Through our offices in Lausanne, Basel, London, Barcelona and Bangalore we support around 60 big companies in implementing SAP based solutions.We are currently looking for a Senior MDM QA & Tester - Informatica MDM Hub, IDD, Active VOS to work for our final client in Basel.
Background:
The project is about implementation of a master da ta management platform for the logistics department using Informatica MDM Hub, Informatica DQ and Informatica Business Glossary. Initial scope will be for Materials/Products data and later extended to other areas.
General information:
- Start date: ASAP (latest: 30.10.2017)
- End date: 31.01.2018
- Extension: The contract is planned to be extended each 3 months for 3 months until Q3 2018.
- Work location: 100% Offsite
- Workload: 100%
- Travelling: Travel abroad is not planned yet but possible (probably 2 times per year for a workshop + probably 2 times to Basel).
Tasks:
- Primary role would be as a Senior IT tester, primarily for the Informatica MDM project..
- He also has to do Functional testing, acceptance testing, regression testing, Load Testing; and do documentation, including test cases, test executions in HP ALM tool and work with business / developers to translate the Business requirements / functional specifications. Into appropriate testing work items.
Qualifications:
- +11 years of IT experience doing Testing and Development
- +5 years of working with HP QuickTest Pro, HP LoadRunner, HP Quality Center, Oracle, Jboss
- +5 experience in HP ALM for requirement and test case maintenance and writing documentation: test plans, test cases, test reports
- Has done QA of MDM Hub, IDD and project manual and automated testing of MDM system
- +8 years experience with Data projects
- Ability to assist business users & technical team in UAT and SAT testing
- Hands on experience with Informatica, Unix Script programming, Oracle PL/SQL programming , Java Programming
- setting up and running automated tests, writing automated tests as well as reviewing tests from other team members;
- analyzing automated tests results and reporting;
- Running of high-volume tests, load and functional testing using HP LoadRunner and QuickTest
- Hands on experience in testing IDD custom extensions, Web services/ REST / SOAP, SIF Components
- Experience in working in onsite offsite projects
- Should have written Test cases, Test Plans for large complex projects
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Informatica toolset (Power Center and Data Quality)
- Experience in other Master Data Management tools (SAP)
- Pharma client experience
- Working in SAP Data integration / migration
- building Java based framework for automated testing
