Your tasks:
- Operate, maintain and support MS Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012 R2), IT Services (AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, DFS, WebProxy, Antivirus), Backup Systems (Veeam, EMC networker) and network solutions (WiFi, VPN, Firewall)
- Identify, isolate and resolve issues related to IT Services, Windows Servers and network solutions
- Monitor and optimize global IT Systems with monitoring tools (MS SCOM, Solarwinds, PRTG, etc.)
- Participate in various IT projects and site integrations
- Support and advise local IT staff worldwide as 2nd level supporter
- Author, update and deliver detailed documentation of operating Procedures, configurations and standards
Your qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent education
- Relevant practical experience in IT Systems Administration
- Well versed in handling Microsoft technologies and in the administration of Windows Server environments
- Good experience in network solutions (WiFi, VPN, Firewall)
- Experience in backup systems and VMware is a plus
- Dynamic and motivated person as well as analytical thinker
- Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
