We have been engaged on a number of different projects with a large utilities organisations, and are seeking capable FTTx Engineers to join our team onsite.
As part of the Products Service Team, the FTTx Solution Engineer ensures delivery of the Network and Management Systems within the architecture portfolio of FTTx access network technologies.
The FTTx domain includes the access network elements and corresponding Element Management platforms. The wholesale access services delivered over access network platforms will serve single-dwelling units, multi-dwelling units and provide a mixture of residential and a range of business access products. The domain's solutions need to be scalable and cost effective.
The individual will require deep subject matter expertise for technical leadership across design, documentation, implementation, installation, commissioning and integration of the solution across the following technologies:
- AMS 9.5 and 9.6 (Access Management System) and supporting Servers (HP DL360 Gen 9)
- Linux Operating System (Redhat Linux 6 and 7)
- F5 IP load balancers
- Must be tertiary qualified.
Preference for knowledge across the following areas:
- 7330, 7367, 7363 and 7302 ISAM
- General IP routing and switching concepts
The FTTx Solution Engineer contributes as part of a specialist team to the requirements management, solution development, integration testing, design authority, vendor engagement and problem tracking of deployed solutions.
These engagement will be for 6 month to start with based in the Melbourne CBD.
