Infrastructure Architect - Data Centres, Storage, Hardware, Virtualisation, Servers, Networks
Global Technology consulting organisation requrires an Infrastructure Architect to take responsibility for defining new standards and infrastructure foundations around database services, web services and networks.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT Infrastructure with a minimum of 5 years working as an Infrastructure Architect.
Core skills required for the role will be:
- A deep knowledge of Data Centre technologies (Storage, Hardware, VMWare, Windows Server, Linux)
- Strong experience in networking and security (Firewalls, Loadbalancers, Routing, DMZ, VLAN's, WAN)
- Good database skills (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Web Services (IIS, Tomcat, Apache)
- ITIL (v3 certified preferred)
