Job Description
Responsibilities:
- As a lead Enterprise Architect you may be responsible for leading one or more architecture development assignments across several clients
- Recommends and participates in the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the EA objectives are consistent with the enterprise's long-term business objectives
- Able to evaluate the business requirements and translate them into a meaningful architecture artefacts that serve as a guiding document for both IT and business for implementation
- Generates conceptual, logical, and physical architecture, system documents, test cases and risk considerations to ensure sound architecture to meet client needs
- Assists application architecture teams to adapt best practices for business processes, Service Oriented Architecture, data architecture and data governance
- Analyzes and recommends architecture principles, policies and various tools to be used in development of the architecture
- Advises and recommends enterprise architecture strategies, processes and methodologies
- Recommends and participates in activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture
- Recommends and participates in the development of architecture blueprints for related systems
- Identifies and recommends areas for study and participates in any proof of concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption
- Identifies implementation risks and analyses potential impact on the enterprise and on the achievement of scheduled objectives
- Recommends and participates in the design and implementation of standards, tools and methodologies.
- Participates in the design and implementation of IT service management standards, tools and methodologies
- Participates in and manages architecture working groups for the development and maintenance of the EA
- Possesses practical knowledge of enterprise wide deployment, scalability, availability, and performance issues
- Capable of overseeing and documenting IT security aspects of the EA, including vulnerability assessment, design, access, and authentication
- Advices on and participates in IT governance set up to ensure that the enterprise architecture delivers the desired benefits to an organization
- Serves as a SME for architectural frameworks, methods and tools and acts as a coach for consultants, technical specialists and architects in any architecture discipline.
- Assists in prioritizing initiatives using ROI based approaches
- Coordinates the activities of others (internal and external including other suppliers) and manages stakeholder expectations

- Has exposure to one or more EA tools such as Archi, System Architect, Troux, Mega,Casewise, Bizzdesign, Sparx, Visio etc
- General awareness of various business as well as operational solutions and workflow solutions like ERP, CRM, HRMS, F&A, BI and Reporting tools etc
- General awareness of capabilities, applicability, limitations and risks of emerging technologies like big data & analytics, cloud computing, sensors, IoT, wearables & connected devices, mobility & apps, social media, augmented reality, 3d printing etc
- Possesses strong business analysis skills and experience, including development of business vision and strategies, functional decomposition, requirements capture, process modelling
