German Speaking Contract Service Desk Analyst, West Yorkshire (ITIL)
Harvey Nash is working exclusively with a leading client based in West Yorkshire looking to recruit an experienced Service Desk Analyst. You will be available immediately for a 6 month contract. Working as part of a lean IT Team, this is an exciting role that will see you multi-tasking in many different areas of the service desk. It is essential that you have a minimum of 4 years' service desk experience within an ITIL environment. You will consider yourself a master of the service desk!
You will have strong German speaking and written skills. Some flexibility on day rate could be available depending on your German skills. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the service desk runs smoothly. You will make sure all calls and resulting incidents are managed effectively. There is currently one other team member on the service desk, you will be required to take 1st and 2nd line calls. You will fully understand the customer comes first and you will always be looking for an effective first time fix. You will appreciate the core components of the business such as emails need to run at all times.
You will be an experienced IT professional who is able to adapt to most situations and very willing to 'roll your sleeves up' and get involved with all levels of task (1st - 2nd line). You will work very well under pressure and have an ability to manage conflicting timeframes while giving a seamless coordinated solution to the business.
Other notable skills will include office 365 (administration), mobile device administration (android/apple/windows), Active Directory administration, Windows XP to Windows 10 & networking. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to liaise with customers/suppliers/senior stakeholders on a regular basis. There is a requirement for documentation of existing procedures to be developed so the candidate must be prepared to assist with this.
The role is based outside of Leeds City Centre, you will require a car.
