Sales Support Analyst

Leading global Financial Service organisation require a Sales Support Analyst for an initial 6 month contract with the potential for extension.

Supports sales representatives and channel partners in administrative areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training and financing.
Responsibilities are within the Sales Support and Administration Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines. Position responsibilities:

1. Prepares preliminary drafts of briefing materials for client calls and meetings from the Sales Team and performs quality reviews for grammar and formatting.
2. Prepares various reports of current and potential clients using multiple, various data bases and systems.
3. Supports the sales team by producing preliminary data analyses, presentations, basic due diligence market comparison reports and periodic ad hoc reports, charts, graphs and presentation data.
4. Cold calls prospective clients and summarizes information.
5. May support the sales team by taking notes during earnings, calls summarizing customer issues, providing phone support and responding to basic customer inquiries.
6. Prepares preliminary sales presentations in PowerPoint and other medium.
7. Provides support on other projects as necessary.
8. Has general understanding of the product portfolio.

Education required: Degree qualified in a related discipline or equivalent work experience

Technical Skills & Requirements:

Competitor Knowledge: Gathers and assists in analysing relevant data on competitors.

Customer Knowledge and Retention: Learns how to navigate the customer organization and identify key facts. Maintains customer information regarding decision makers in internal sales systems, as directed. Learns the fundamentals of customer retention, including how to identify valuable customers and their basic needs.

Documenting/Recording Information: Learns to enter, transcribe, record, store, and maintain information in written or electronic form according to NASDAQ OMX standards.

Market Knowledge/Technical Knowledge of Products:
-Develops basic understanding of standard NASDAQ OMX offerings and major areas of expertise.
-Develops a basic understanding of standard NASDAQ OMX products, technologies and offerings.
-Develops a basic understanding of competitors standard products and services. Relationship Building: Displays attentiveness by taking notes during discussions and asking questions.
-Effectively addresses customer concerns and works to further their long-term interests.
-Builds basic customer knowledge and an understanding of common customer needs.

Sales Performance Measurement, Analytics and Evaluation: Learns to test/validate standard, non-complex data. Learns to apply basic data analytic techniques. Understands the fundamentals of sales planning, budgeting and monitoring.
