Flex App Senior System Administrator
Travel may be required up to 50%
The Flex App Senior Systems Administrator shall perform design, implementation, and configuration of virtualized and physical IT architectures supporting virtualized and physical desktop environments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Implementing Flex App design from the ground up
2. Building out 3 datacenters and 28 sites to support Flex App infrastructure
3. Designs, develops, tests, and debugs complex new software products, or makes significant enhancements to existing software.
4. Liquidware FlexApp and ProfileUnity deployment, configuration and application sequencing.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration.
A minimum of 3 years supporting large and complex global data center VDI, virtualization, and server computing platforms
5+ years of experience with designing and supporting VDI environments to include application virtualization.
A strong background in the deployment and support of virtualization technologies: Virtualized Infrastructure; Desktop Virtualization (non-persistent) Application Virtualization
Expertise in the following technology areas: Windows 7/10 image deployment and development; Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
Experience Scripting with a Scripting language (prefer Powershell).
Experience with VMware Horizon, VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related components.
