SC Cleared Linux Specialist - Contract - Lancashire
Square One are looking for an SC Cleared Linux Specialist to come on board for an initial 6 month contract in Lancashire.
This is an initial 6 month contract, paying market rates.
The Role:
Assesses the variance between the current and desired states of the Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Information Architecture and Technology Architecture domains.
This role designs a total system (end to end), to include using network management, application platforms, and database solutions.
Requirement:
Strong experience of physical and virtual Linux O/S versions, many back level
Strong experience in the discovery of Linux systems using tools (generic) and experience based consulting (top down discovery), collation of data in to central repository for migration design and planning purposes
Strong Experience in high-level design of a Linux estate based on as-is, including interfacing with AD/DNS, backup, systems management and monitoring tooling
Experience of migrating Linux systems through various techniques including implications of continued/duplicate administration
Experience in testing principles and process around the Infrastructure Verification testing (IVT) at level 2 (O/S/Tools) and sign-off of testing from IVT1 (ground to O/S) undertaken by DC team.
Experience in implementing DR solutions using a copy of production as basis
Ability to lead Platform SME's in the production of Low-Level Designs and through Migration (if required)
This is an initial 6 month contract, paying market rates.
