WAS System Engineer - Luxembourg

Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH (bilingual)

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor programmer or IT training of a higher level
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy, discipline, customer orientation, initiative and contacts, good resistance to stress
  • Willing to work in a system including guards
  • Knowledge of Operating System following AIX & Linux
  • Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ, Linoma Gateway MFT, SSL and SSH protocols
  • Basic knowledge of the following Shell Scripting programming languages (Python)
  • Willing to work outside working hours during planned or planned interventions to resolve incidents

Description of work:

  • Support, monitoring and maintenance of a partial area of the IT infrastructure to guarantee the highest level of quality and availability
  • Technical management and development of part of the IT infrastructure, in order to offer users a stable environment
  • Installation of new infrastructure elements or new services
  • Provide support in the event of incidents and sustainably prevent problems to maintain the availability of systems at the highest possible level
  • Inform, train and supervise users of the infrastructure, to ensure that systems are used optimally and efficiently
  • Collaborate or lead infrastructure projects in its field to improve systems, implement new systems
