System Engineer required.
A System Engineer with a strong back-ground in building and supporting high-performance, scalable platforms is required by Montash's industry leading client based in Maastricht. It is essential that as System Engineer you have an extensive track-record working within enterprise Microsoft Windows environments and possess advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and Blade Server technology.
In previous positions as a System Engineer, you will have thrived in a global enterprise environment, and played a key role in strategic technical projects and infrastructure support across multiple Microsoft domains. You will also be capable of working with Technical Architects in the design of implementation activities as well managing scalable, secure, and highly available environments.
The System Engineer will also ideally have a background in ITIL operating process and be knowledgeable in the areas of system automation, monitoring and backup technologies.
To summarise, the System Engineer must have the following core skills:
- Enterprise Microsoft Windows Environments
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- VMware and Enterprise Virtualization
- Blade Server environments
- Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Application Servers and related environments
Alongside expert technical expertise you will also be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise with business people and stakeholders at all levels.
