Control Room Manager - Conflicts Operations - Investment Bank
The Control Room Manager/Conflicts Operations Manager will is required to manage the maintenance of the conflicts clearance database, watch/restricted lists, information barrier approvals and research clearances for our banking client based in London.
- 4-5 years working in a control room (Large Banks)
- Hands-on BAU role:- research clearance, placing restrictions, barrier approvals etc - day to day
- 50% BAU and 50% Projects - eg do research clearance in the morning and then do some process work in the afternoon
- Supporting in project work - how can we re-develop the MI that is more meaningful to the stakeholders
- Work a spread sheet and understand the data
- Proactive approach
- Support in process change
- Experience of dealing with legal and regulatory matters and confident interaction with others including external stakeholder eg regulators.
- Proven track record of managing change in a global regional and local structure.
- Experience of creating, leading and motivating a team.
- Experience of working within a matrixed environment preferred including reporting internationally.
- Ability to lead change, contributing to joining up with the other teams in Risk, Compliance and Business globally.
