WA Consultants are recruiting for one of our large automotive clients in Warwickshire. We are currently recruiting for an engineer to lead IOP and support Android Auto and Car Play feature validation from self-certification through to delivery of key deliveries. You will liaise with Supplier and lead Consumer devices IoP testing, liaise with Google/Apple and support various activities from self-certification to final feature sign-off for Android Auto & Car Play, Reviewing the design requirements, impact assessment and suggesting design changes to fix the symptoms, book the rigs/vehicles to conduct exploratory/functional testing for Android Auto & CarPlay features, obtaining logs from rigs/vehicles & investigate further to assign the issues to a specific/multiple suppliers, monitor the CRs/WRs and schedule the delivery based on risk assessment, validation of fixes in the test rigs/vehicles delivered for Android Auto/CarPlay, participating in supplier partner governance meetings to track the status of the delivery and taking part in hardware document review discussions and submissions.
Skills Required:
Experience of delivering IoP, Android Auto & Car Play features from self-certification till customer sign off.
Experience of working with automotive infotainment systems, automotive electronics & automotive networks - CAN/LIN/MOST/Ethernet.
Experience of testing infotainment in manual test rigs and vehicles and convey clear status and build quick reports for management.
