WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Specialist.
Looking for a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Specialist to join a long term project in The Netherlands for an initial 12 months.
The job spec ias as follows:
The senior level system administrator is an individual with extensive product knowledge of WebSphere. The candidate will deploy applications by Scripting the automatic deployment based on input from the application vendors. The candidate is expected to plan, install and configure the product, implement applications, set up distributed queuing, enable appropriate security, administer and operate a queue manager network, enforce organizational and operational standards, perform basic problem determination and implement clustering and publish/subscribe topologies.
Key skills:
* AIX & Linux skills (incl. shell+D237 Scripting)
. WebSphere Application Server ND (v6.1,v7.0,v8.5)
. Application deployment
. Setup and configure SSL-MA
. IBM httpserver or Apache httpserver & WAS plugin
. networks (TCP/IP, routing)
. clustering & loadbalancing
. Jython, Urban Code (new standard as deployment tool) is not mandatory but a preference.
. good communication skills.
