In TAD-N Replacement project we need a resource that has knowledge regarding the tool "Jenkins".
What we are trying to do:
TAD-N in collaboration with ItOps is aiming to set up a continuous delivery pipeline with Jenkins to enable continuous development capability
What needs to be done:
Installation of Jenkins as a tool:
Installation & Setup of Jenkins needs to be scalable and fit the needs of TAD-N. We need someone who can be part of the work in defining how the architecture will be and give input to question like what to run in Jenkins and which parts needs separate Jenkins slaves
Creation of Jenkins pipelines to enable automated build, deploy and test
Create pipelines for build:
Creating Jenkins configurations for building different software components. Pipeline should build code, run unit-level test and check dependencies. Creating Jenkins configuration for deploying different software components to environments.
Creating Jenkins configurations for being able to trigger execution of automated integration (propably SoapUi) test and functional tests (probably selenium-based or HP UFT)
Ideal/Must:
A tech-oriented person who has knowledge with setting up Jenkins and
Jenkins pipelines/configurations or at least used Jenkins extensively. Would be good: Have knowledge of how Jenkins
helps the development process Would be good:
Have knowledge of testing practices and automated testing in practice
with Jenkins Could: Have knowledge and understand the mentality of CI&CD (/DevOps)
