I am currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer contract role based in Greater Manchester.
Building Services design for clean room projects within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Working within design and build environment.
The design of HVAC, Active Ventilation systems, Steam systems*, LTHW heating systems, Chilled water systems, hot and cold water service systems, compressed air systems*, and natural gas systems. Design reviews and risk assessments, to ensure the designs are technically sound, safe and commercially viable. Identifying energy efficiency opportunities undertaking improvements for the existing site wide steam and condensate system*.
* Advantageous but not essential
Contract length - Initial 6-12 months contract
Location - Greater Manchester
Rate - competitive rate depending on experience
Experience required:
- Strong HVAC design experience
- Pharmaceutical or Nuclear experience/Critical System design for high availability and redundancy (Data centres, Hospitals, Laboratories etc)
This is predominantly office based role with occasional site visits required.
