Description

We are seeking a suitably experienced ICT Project Manager to deliver the ICT systems and services that are shared between tenants as well as those systems used exclusively by my client. The ICT PM will coordinate their efforts with ICT PMs from the other tenants who will be responsible for the delivery of non-shared ICT services to their respective organisations.

The ICT scope of the project includes:
1. Transition from the existing Glebe facility
2. New infrastructure to support the operation of the new Lidcombe building
3. Local Area Network (LAN)
4. Wide Area Network (WAN)
5. Desktop Services
6. Network Firewall Security
7. Network Access Control
8. Wireless LAN (shared)
9. IP Telephony (shared)
10. Mobile Duress (shared)
11. Messaging System (shared)
12. Secure Print Services (shared)
13. Ongoing support and maintenance

The ICT PM will report to the Director Information Communication Technology Services.

There will be a variety of different stakeholders that the ICT PM will work with from different agencies, hospitals etc

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for ensuring all non-share ICT systems shared systems used by multiple tenants are delivered on time and to the quality standards set by the project stakeholders.

The ICT Project Manager will be supplied with a project scope and major milestones. They are to develop a detailed project plan that identifies tasks, budget, resources and risks. That plan is to be endorsed by the ICT steering committee.

The ICT Project Manager will then execute that plan.

The scope of work that the ICT Project Manager will be responsible for includes (but is not limited to);
1. Conduct a procurement exercise, via a Request for Proposal, ICT equipment and services for; LAN, WLAN, Mobile duress and Messaging
2. Coordinate the delivery of WAN and Telephony services
3. Oversee and coordinate the transition of LAN, WLAN, Mobile duress and messaging from the Systems Integrator.
4. Assist with the selection of a shared printing solution, installation and transition
5. Coordinate procurement of addition ICT related equipment eg: PCs.
6. Create user acceptance, commissioning and transition plans for all items with the scope
7. Major Medical Equipment (MME) - ensure that the ICT requirements for any medical equipment to be installed into the new facility are met.
8. Computer Room Relocation - ensure that Servers and related equipment are relocated and made operational in the new facility's computer room.
9. Video Conferencing - assist other tenants staff to deliver this shared service to the facility.

From time to time, the ICT Project Manager will be required to act in a Business Analyst role so as to better define or refine the requirement and the solution.
