Description

Role: IT Security Support Engineer

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands

Duration: 6 months + Extension

Job Description:

  • Detection and response to security incidents generated by the different security technologies deployed, reported by the IT Service Desk, internal staff or other mediums.
  • Prior experience working in a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT/CIRT) or IT security environment
  • Analyze events/alerts and escalate to incidents if necessary
  • Provide initial response and investigation of confirmed security incidents
  • Primary point of contact for handling incidents
  • Log incidents and escalate to next level if required
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis
  • Knowledge with networking concepts and protocols (such as DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP, FTP, etc.)
  • Certifications such as GSEC, GCIH, CEH are preferred.
  • Trustworthiness and integrity.
  • Ability to take decisive action based on available information in a timely manner.
