Senior Infrastructure Administrator - Windows Server - London - Perm - £59 000Talent are currently working with a FTSE 100 Software Company that is looking to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Administrator on a permanent basis. Based in London, this is a great opportunity to join a highly innovative and exciting organisation as they undergo their next phase of growth.
This is a key role in the organisation and you will be responsible for providing support and for any issues which may arise on the online platform. You will be viewed as technical expert and provide assistance on any projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading on the installation, configuration and maintenance of all Windows & Linux based systems;
- Acting as the point of contract for the support teams;
- Being able to convert requirements into technical infrastructure designs with necessary documentation
The successful candidate will have experience of:
- Windows Server, VMWare Virtualisation, Active Directory (LDAP), SAN Storage;
- Linux this includes Debian and Ubuntu
- Clustering and High Availability (Linux), DR, Backup and Recovery
Knowledge of Web Server Configurations such as Apache and Linux Automation is preferred. In addition, experience of 24/7 "four nines" SLA Support, Monitoring, Proactive Fault Finding and Security Awareness, Authentication Methods, PCI-DSS Understanding.
Some of the initiatives that you will immediately be involved in, include the upgrade to a cloud based solution.
