Our multi-national client has an opening for a Maintenance Technician to join their team at Skelmersdale.
Salary - £29,600 + 22%v shift allowance - £36,112/annum (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)
Nights - + 33% shift allowance - £38,480/annum (10pm - 6am)
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of Omron PLC's and ABB robot (but training will be provided). They should have experience within a maintenance role in the past and preferably have an electrical bias. The experience should come from an assembly background not a continuous improvement or products like paper.
Their role will be to keep the machine running at a standard speed, making sure the quality of the product is the same and that the 'scrap' does not exceed the threshold. The machines have 4 to 5 robots with multi access arms that take the filters from one element of the process to the next.
