Openshift/API Administrator - Banking
An Openshift/API Administrator to work in the SRE team will be supporting the projects who want to onboard in OpenShift and/or use API Connect for their projects. It's a 24x7 support team, hence out of office hours and on-call rota is mandatory
Key skills required for the Openshift/API Administrator - Banking
- Linux and Scripting (Shell, Python, Perl)
- Support experience in production environments
- Teamwork
- Documentation capabilities
- Communication skills
- IBM API Connect management and task automation experience
- IBM API Connect issue analysis and resolution capabilities
- Project management in GitLab
- Ansible Scripting
- Pivotal Cloud Foundry management knowledge
- OpenShift management knowledge
- Help the projects willing to use OpenShift/Pivotal Cloud Foundry and/or API Connect for their projects with the onboarding
- Produce, review and enforce best practices for both OpenShift/Pivotal Cloud Foundry and API Connect products
- Produce, review and share automation scripts for the management/maintenance tasks for OpenShift/Pivotal Cloud Foundry projects and API Connect infra
- Help diagnosing and solving issues in OpenShift/Pivotal Cloud Foundry projects and API Connect infra
- Train other team members in specific technologies
- Be trained by other team members in specific technologies
