A Configuration Manager is required for a role based in Brussels
Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold either SC Clearance, DV Clearance or NATO Secret. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Asset and Configuration management of large number of complex and interrelated CIs for a large IT data centre.
Responsible for organising, directing, and managing activities for providing asset procurement support for IT devices and components; inventory management and tracking of all devices to include entering CI data into Remedy Atrium CMDB and configuration of virtual Servers to support the expansion of services.
Must have the skills to address issues with service desk management, Level 1, 2 and 3 support.
Qualifications
Experience in IT Asset and/or Configuration management with attention to details and understanding established processes; experience in leading or working with a configuration/procurement team; experience in documenting and revising processes and procedures
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following. Assist in planning for Configuration Management databases and activities. Identify Configuration Items under management. Control Configuration Item information. Perform status accounting, verification and audit of Configuration Management databases. Provide management information about Configuration Management quality and Operations
Desired Skills
Bachelor degree in relevant field, with 5 years of direct experience in IT service delivery support, or 7+ years of related experience without a degree. ITIL training and/or certification. Experience with IT device solutions. Certification in relevant IT products/technologies.
Experience in one or more technologies:
Remedy Atrium CMDB, SCCM, Scorch, SCOM, Cisco Prime, NetAppl OnTap, Citrix ZenAppl
The role will be based in Brussels, will run for approx. 6 months at a competitive hourly rate
