Proteus Europe is searching for a cellular certification consultant who will be able to assist one of our blue chip clients for a medium term project in the South of France.Our Client :-
Our client is a global renowned aerospace manufacturer with an enviable heritage in the aerospace field. They manufacture systems for a mixture of civil and defence aircraft and are constantly developing innovative solutions for their clients. Your New role :-
Activities to be completed: Guidance/support for technical aspects of cellular certification
- Providing expertise and support on worldwide cellular airborne equipment
- SIERRA Modem integration into avionics router SSR
- Cellular certification as per regulation
- Carrier certification
- Technical and Systems assistance/guidance for Integrating Sierra wireless Modems into SSR and WACS.
- Addressing Cellular systems questions at system level
- Systems solution to achieve industry certification of SSR PTCRB and GCF
- Systems solution to achieve carrier certification of SSR for global carriers (ATT, Verizon, Vodafone, NTT Docomo, CMCC)
- Technical Liaison between test facility and carriers to achieve/complete Industry as well as carrier certification.
- Front ending and working with identified carriers to complete certification.
- Investigating and addressing operational details of Cellular Modem and its behaviour.
- Identify carrier requirements that are specific to the host to achieve certification.
- Technical expertise and know how on different country regulatory approvals.
- Technical expertise with eSIM/eUICC system and solutions
- Be able to analyze results, non-compliance issues (certification, carrier, ) and provide rationale, propose alternative solutions (if any).
- Meeting participation with end customer.
Project Deliverables:
Detailed Plan that must identify activities required to meet all required Agency Certifications in all countries and on all carriers identified by our client and showing linkage to applicable Regulations, as well as include a summary of the effects of each Activity not being performed.
