I am current recruiting for a SAP MM/WM functional consultant to work in the project delivery team.
This role will be based in Dublin, Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have strong SAP functional skills with standard Material Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM) & Purchasing functionality.
Essential- Strong configuration and customization in MM, WM & Purchasing
- Understanding/experience of MM, WM & Purchasing integration with other modules egSD, FI, PS and wider SAP functionality (ABAP, BW)
- Understanding complex and variable business requirements and where appropriate challenging them and communicating to a range of stakeholders.
- Analysis of requirements and being able to document an accurate understanding of these requirements and mapping of those to SAP business processes/solution design
- Managing Project scoping, estimation and design (ie preparing functional specification) through to implementation (completing system configuration, liaising closely with ABAP team during build phase)
- Preparing and managing all elements of Functionality Testing and Test Strategies.
- Ability to design and develop test plans (eg test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system & acceptance testing in order to ensure the solution meets the business requirements
- Possess strong communication skills for interaction with different stakeholders involved in a Project (ie in the business process definition stages, design, testing etc. with technical and non-technical people).
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are mandatory
- Strong documentation/writing skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise functional specifications & knowledge transfer documentation.
- Must display ability to create/maintain project documentation to allow smooth transition of Projects into Support organisation
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Work experience in both a support and project environment
- ABAP debugging skills
