Description
Responsible for the proper operation of a large group of Network Elements.
Duties in support of interdepartmental objectives, to support the activation of new sites and integration of network hardware and InterconnecT facilities. Other responsibilities include testing and analysing network coverage to ensure contiguous communication and network integrity and quality; updating daily logs with site-specific information; composing clear and concise reports for system documentation; and performing activation tasks as required by Local, Regional, Area, Corporate or Regulatory agencies. The Field Eng- Cells is expected to be able to perform their duties with little supervision, and participate in cross-functional projects as scheduled.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred. 5 to 7 years of experience.
