This specialist Engineer will Lead on the Internet engineering project and create the development and delivery of enhanced solutions. The Internet Engineer will work specifically part of the clients Web Infrastructure, where they will work on the primary build withing a JBOS, Apache, Middleware environment.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Internet engineering concepts and methodologies is required.
- An understanding in the financial sector would be helpful but not at all essential
- Lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes in the department. Ensure adequate test coverage in Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing and Performance Testing.
- Perform Quality Inspections and Walkthroughs throughout the SDLC including Requirements Review, Architecture Review, Design Review, Code Review and Security
- Have a solid understanding of web infrastructure
- As an Internet Engineer, this person will be able to understand the build of infrastructure
- Primarily would have worked with JBOS
- Primarily would have worked with Middleware
- Primarily would have worked with Apache and F5
- Ideally have an understanding of WebSphere/Weblogic
- Have the ability to work in a Matrix team and communicate with Developers, Engineers and Project Managers
