one of our main clients based in Stockholm is currently looking for a Senior IBM MQ specialist to join them ASAP for an initial contract until the end of May 2018.
Role:
You will be a key player in driving development and automation within integration platform IBM MQ which is being used by business critical applications at one of the leading financial institutions in the Nordic countries.
IBM MQ, (often referred to as "MQ"), is IBM's Messaging solution for Enterprise and IBM's Message Oriented Middleware offering. IBM MQ simplifies and accelerates the integration of diverse applications and business data across multiple platforms. It uses message queues to facilitate the exchanges of information and offers a single messaging solution for cloud, mobile, Internet of Things (IoT) and on-premises environments. It allows independent and potentially non-concurrent applications on a distributed system to securely communicate with each other.
Together with Continuous Improvement Manager, Solution Expert and Infrastructure Architect, you will investigate improvements areas, collect stakeholder needs, prioritize, design and implement improvements.
Experience
- Strong experience with MQ and good knowledge of the Messaging solution. The consultant will support the team that is in place today (4 people in the team) and like to work hands on to build different automatization and understand different problems and be able to find new solutions.
- You will be part of a highly engaged team, therefore it is very important to us that you are a team player with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset. You need to be persistent and self-propelling. Driven, high performing with a track record in making things happen and pursue goals despite ambiguous and slow-moving situations.
- Analytical skills and drive to turn information into fact based knowledge. Strong focus on problem solving and a can-do attitude.
- Good communication skills and a team player that gets energy from cooperation with colleagues throughout the company. Fluent English is mandatory Swedish is a plus.
