Information Protection Analyst - Contract - Leeds
Square One are looking for an Information Protection Analyst to come on board for an initial 3 month contract in Leeds.
This is an initial 3 month contract, paying market rates.
The role:
- Configuration management (create, test, update, optimise) of Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention rules to cover data in use, data in motion and data at rest;
- Triage of Information Protection incidents including analysis, escalation and assistance in the investigation and remediation of critical information security incidents related to data leakage;
- Maintenance of procedural documentation such as standard operating procedures;
- Development of reports and metrics dashboards that demonstrate risk reduction and operating effectiveness of the deployed tools;
- Identification of broken business processes, including those handling PCI data, and the subsequent recommendation of mitigating controls in line with corporate mandates and regulatory requirements;
Requirements:
- Proven experience of operating and administering data loss prevention technologies - specifically those provided by Microsoft, Intel/McAfee and GroundLabs.
This should include as a minimum:
- Access Management
- Rule Management
- Workflow Management
- Event Analysis
- Incident Management
- Proven knowledge and experience of PCI;
- Experience of Scripting languages and creating/testing regular expressions;
- Experience of data analytics and generation of dashboards and reports;
- Experience in deploying and operating Cloud Access Security Broker technology;
- Ability to deal with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, in a confident and assured manner;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- High degree of professionalism and personal integrity;
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and exercise good judgement;
- Excellent documentation skills (process, control, policy, and risk documentation);
- Ability to learn quickly and apply risk/control considerations, mindful of business process impact
This is an initial 3 month contract, paying market rates.
