I am currently seeking an experienced Systems Certification Engineer to work with a client of mine based in France.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Rate: Negotiable Dependent on arrangement and experience
Location: Preferably Toulouse but remote working is a possibility for the right candidate with occasional trips to France
Duration: 6 months minimum
Start Date: ASAP but no later than January
The Role
My client is developing "smart" communication equipment for the aerospace industry.
Due to rapid expansion and new projects, they require expertise in Systems Certification, specifically with the following:
- Systems Certification experience with PTCRB and GCF
- Due to the above, you will ideally have experience within the telecommunications industry
- Modems - 4G Sierra Wireless is the technical environment
Activities to be carried out include:
- Sierra modem integration into avionics Router
- Cellular certification as per regulations
- Carrier Certification
- Technical Systems Guidance for integration
- Addressing Cellular systems questions at systems level
- Technical Liaison between test facility and carriers to achieve complete certification (industry & cellular)
Ability to analyse non-compliance issues and propose alternative solutions (if any)
