Description

Windows Engineer / Administrator - SCOM / Active Directory / VMware- This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a global organisation. The role will involve 2nd and 3rd line server support within a Microsoft technical environment and will also include working on a number of key projects.

Your experience/skills:
  • Windows server technologies including Active Directory, DNS, IIS and File System Security
  • Extensive 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting
  • Solid knowledge with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Configuration Manager
  • Must have worked in a VMware environment
  • IT best practise / ITIL fundamentals
  • PowerShell scripting, System Center Service Manager, VMware and skills in the areas of anti-virus technologies would be beneficial
  • Languages: fluent English both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • 2nd and 3rd line server support
  • Providing network design and network concepts activities
  • Administrating the end-to-end problem solution
  • Managing group policies for large complex environments
  • Participating in IT initiatives
  • Working in a multicultural environment
