Description
Windows Engineer / Administrator - SCOM / Active Directory / VMware- This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a global organisation. The role will involve 2nd and 3rd line server support within a Microsoft technical environment and will also include working on a number of key projects.Your experience/skills:
- Windows server technologies including Active Directory, DNS, IIS and File System Security
- Extensive 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting
- Solid knowledge with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Configuration Manager
- Must have worked in a VMware environment
- IT best practise / ITIL fundamentals
- PowerShell scripting, System Center Service Manager, VMware and skills in the areas of anti-virus technologies would be beneficial
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- 2nd and 3rd line server support
- Providing network design and network concepts activities
- Administrating the end-to-end problem solution
- Managing group policies for large complex environments
- Participating in IT initiatives
- Working in a multicultural environment
