Optimus Life Sciences are working with the diagnostics wing of one of the world's most recognisable Pharmaceutical companies, to find a study start-up specialist to start in quarter one of 2018.
Their main role will be conducting start-up activities from pre-study site assessments through to first patient in (at last site) for a large UK based clinical study.
The role requires someone to be based out of the HQ in Oxfordshire and travel to sites across the UK as the study develops. Ideal applicants for the role will have experience working on end-to-end management of clinical studies, from design to approval to reporting.
The role is due to stat in February, but the company are running interviews from next week onwards and aiming to extend an offer before the December!
The core focus on the role is:
- Site identification.
- Pre-study site assessment visits and reports.
- Collection of site setup documents.
- NIHR portfolio adoption.
- MHRA application and ethics.
- Contract negotiations and R&D liaison.
- Preparation and review of key study materials.
- Training of internal staff/CRAs.
- Training of study site staff.
- Completion of SIVs and reports.
- Support for initial monitoring visits for CRA development.
