Description

An IT Service Desk Analyst is required for our public sector client based in Stanley. The role will be for an initial 3 month contract.

  • Provide Service Desk and 1st Line ICT support and Solution Services to 9000 users.
  • Provide user access and registration services
  • Provide administrative support to ICT services.
  • Ensure effective and efficient customer service.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Ability to provide 1st line helpdesk and solution support and assistance to users of ICT systems.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to assess information given from callers of all types and respond accordingly.
  • Problem solving skills and ability.
  • Effective communications and inter-personal skills.
  • Understanding of multiple IT hardware and software systems.
  • Knowledge of common IT operating systems and applications used within the Trust.
  • Good keyboard skills.
  • Good Telephone manner.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the day to day provision of an ICT helpdesk service.
  • Process new user request forms.
  • Respond to incoming support calls in a timely manner.
  • Undertake the provision of ICT operational jobs and services.
  • Input into and maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software.
  • Administer access to network and application systems.
  • Provide assistance to the Infrastructure support and IT operations teams.
  • Provide advice to users on the correct use of ICT equipment.
  • Use advanced tools to administer user accounts.
  • Ensure the efficient call logging and management of all support calls.
