VMware Engineer - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH only (French or Dutch is a bonus)
Description of work:
We're looking for a a good VMWare ESX operational profile, to replace one of our consultants as from January 2018 (with some handover days in Dec17) till October 2018, Full time onsite, with possible extension.
The candidate will setup proof of concept running different solutions, test them, put them into production, dismantle them, and setup new ones in a lab customer.
Skills and experience:
- System knowledge (80% of the job)
- GOOD Vmware ESX knowledge (Create/move VMs, change configuration on vswitch)
- Linux knowledge (basic Linux CLI know how )
- DNS and NTP knowledge (mainly adding DNS entries in a Bind9 DNS)
- Network knowledge:
- Basic Cisco networking knowledge for the lab mainly Layer 2 knowledge (Subnetting/Vlan) anyone that is close to a CCNA/ATP level will be enough
