Senior Infrastructure Architect
Contract (4 months, likely extension up to 18 months)

£400 - £500 daily rate
My client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Architect to join there 2 year transformation project, which will be based in Dublin. This is a long term project so extensions are likely. The main objective of the programme is to drive system design and all other delivery related activities to define and meet the technology needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to define the infrastructure scalability strategy, approach and plan to support the business
- Be able to take a lead role within the infrastructure team
- Manage the Infrastructure
- Have drive and desire to further your skill set and lead in the infrastructure domain
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
- Good knowledge of technology and trends, including cloud hosting and virtualised infrastructure
- Hands-on experience of low level VMWare (or equivalent) virtual environment design and implementation
