Position Overview and requirements:

Overall expectations include the build and support of an interactive portal on the company's web site. Ongoing maintenance and enhancement will be required. Web Site Client Real Time experience, design and implementation skills required.

The position responsibilities include maintaining existing Content Management Systems, websites that include Intranet and Internet applications. Internal and external facing custom websites, website graphics, narrative content, site and page structure reflecting Web 2.0 standards for XHTML, JavaScript, and cascading style sheet (CSS). Where possible, web pages shall display and properly operate on personal computers and other devices equipped with web browsers, ie smartphones, etc.

This position is approximately 25% Content Management, 75% web development.

Engineer and deploy web & application products built on the Microsoft stack, (IIS6.0), (IIS 7.0 or 7.5) (IIS 8.0 or 8.5)

Strong knowledge of web services, web application development, MS SQL Server 2008, MSMQ, and multi-tier application systems

Troubleshoot and debug performance, configuration and infrastructure problems found in the production and non-production environments.

Manage and support product integration services with multiple business partners, including Real Time web services and batch processing.

Automate systems monitoring tasks using standard monitoring tools.

Experience with .NET programming a plus

Detailed knowledge of PowerShell & VBScript

Detailed knowledge of hardware load balancing scenarios

Detailed knowledge of Windows operating systems and tools

Experience working in a virtualized environment (eg VMware)

4+ years of designing and implementing Web pages and web-based applications

Working experience with IIS and Apache, web analytics

Other:

Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately translate user requirements into technical deliverables with minimal oversight from product managers and limited documentation of business requirements and functional specifications.
