Description
1. Job description
* Daily system maintenance of the production environment in the approx. 30 signalling boxes, the development environment and the configuration environment (computers for parameter creation of the production systems)
* Second level support for the application and IT equipment in the signal boxes
* Preparation of Servers, workstations, network equipment for new signal boxes or for extension/replacement in existing signal boxes
* Testing, documenting and implementation of new Technologies and concepts
* Guard duty by turns
* Regular car trips in Belgium
* Occasional mounting/assembly work of IT equipment in computer rooms and control rooms
2. Key elements in the execution of the Service/Assignment
The service provider shall make sure that the person:
* Can work in a structured way and precisely
* Can work autonomously as well as in team
* Is immune to stress
* Is customer oriented, acts discretely and loyally, since there is direct contact with the end customer
* Is flexible on working hours and mobility in Belgium

4. Required competencies for the execution of the Service/Assignment
Knowledge and/or interested in:
* Debian/Ubuntu/RedHat Linux system administration(!)
* Stratus VOS system administration
* Networking: Routers, Switches, VPN, Firewall, VRRP from Allied Telesis(!)
* Vmware vSphere(!)
* Symantec NetBackup
* Nagios monitoring
* Database technology: MySQL/postgress
* IT hardware
* Dutch (!), understanding French, English
