Infrastructure Engineer - CCIE/ISE/WIreless
Overview:
A global British financial company with 1500+ users over 60 locations worldwide are looking to recruit an experienced senior Infrastructure Engineer to be based at their London office.
This position will also be put In charge of high level projects which may require some resource management of other engineers/admins to complete tasks.
Essential skills & experience:
To be considered for this role you must have 5+ years' experience in a 3rd line technical role with detailed hands on experience of troubleshooting with the following technologies:
At least 2 years' experience in a Architect/Technical lead position
At least 5 years' experience in a 3rd line Networking technical role or equivalent
Detailed Cisco networking experience to a minimum of CCNP and ideally CCIE level
WAN and LAN technologies - Internet, Intranet, security, incident and change management systems to evaluate design and maintain.
In depth knowledge of Cisco ASA Firewall technologies
Detailed Cisco Nexis 5000 series switching experience
Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC)
Cisco Meraki environments
Knowledge and application of ITIL processes.
Desirable:
Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Cisco Call Manager
IP telephony - Avaya/Nortel.
Video Conference - Tandberg/Cisco.
Solarwinds Network Monitoring.
Working in a NOC like environment
Prince2/ITIL
