4321 - Storage Engineer - 6 months With Extensions - €400
An experienced storage engineer is required to join and work with a international digitial transformation company in Brussels.
Your main duty as a storage engineer is to be able to perform technical design, engineering and maintain secure information while providing storage solutions in support of the enterprise systems (IBM, SAN and EMC). You will work closely with the storage manager in creating effective storage strategies from in-depth investigations that was made. As well as maintaining and defining storage configurations, installs hardware and software, sets up and monitors of system tasks, and provides problem resolution.
You will be required to Participate in meetings with customer and other third parties, and travel occasionally internationally to Sweden with expenses paid for.
The ideal storage engineer will possess these core skills:
- Soft skills: team player, ownership, pro-active, taking initiatives
- Languages: English (Dutch is advanatge)
- Create/update technical documentation/processes for offshore
- Participate in meetings with customer and other third parties
- Analyse and follow-up storage/san problems
- Execute change/service requests.
- Assign storage to hosts/clusters
- Create zonings

- HP MSA
- HP 3PAR 7xxx
- EMC VNX
- SAN : Brocade
