Investment Operations Specialist required for a 6 month contract.
2/3 days in Leeds and 2/3 days in London (Travel expensed)
An LGPS (Local Government Pension Scheme) based in Leeds are in the process of restructuring their DC pension contribution and are setting up an ACS fund structure to support this business.
All the regulatory elements and project management are being supported by Eversheds and NT, but the LGPS require support in setting up the investment operational aspects of the proposition.
The right individual should have an excellent understanding of collective investment vehicles, the impacts on operations for accumulation and income distributing funds and be comfortable in advising the client on the most appropriate approach when structuring the ACS funds. A complete understanding of the different dealing and valuation cycles of collectives and their impact on a blended fund that invests into funds of different dealing and valuation cycles is important and tying this into member investments and creations into the collective funds.
Experience of defining a TOM (Target Operating Model) in an outsourced environment is essential, defining processes and key controls and oversight requirements.
