T4S Solutions are partnered with a prestigious organisation in the Public sector in Belgium who are planning to implement ServiceNow and require a administrator and developer to work on a 6 month extendable contract in Brussels.

This role will be split 50/50 between administrative and development duties.

The primary responsibility

Day-to-day support administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. Following applications/modules are deployed: Call, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Discovery, Asset, Service Catalog/Request, Knowledge, Service Portal, ITBM, Performance Analytics and other service modules

In addition, the administrator performs design and implementation tasks like requirements gathering, configuration, integration, and testing. The administrator partners with PMO, Service Owners, operations teams, and key business stakeholders to develop solutions aligning to Service Management best practices. Its role is to create and modify process workflows, reporting and dashboards in addition to developing knowledge, technical and process documentation. The Administrator stays abreast of new features and functionality, playing a key role in driving continual improvement.

The following tasks will be requested:

  • Perform administration, support, maintenance and configuration of the ServiceNow platform; (including second/third level of support for the Itineris team)
  • Monitor the health of the system;
  • Administration and debugging tasks;
  • Follow-up of problems and escalations with ServiceNow support teams;
  • Build ad-hoc reports and dashboards (incl. Performance Analytics features);
  • Design and implementation of custom processes;
  • Responsible for creating Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
  • Act as advisor to any stakeholders for implementing, designing, and developing in accordance with ServiceNow best practices;
  • Assistance with roll-out and transition into production of new components delivered by the ServiceNow project team;
  • Drafting operational guidelines, procedures, installation notices and scripts for the integrations, feature installations and upgrades;
  • Operate in accordance with the defined ITIL processes and procedures;

Technical Skills and Functions:

  • Good understanding and proven experience of ServiceNow Workflow Editing, Report Generation, Performance Analytics, Update Sets, Glide Records and System, CMS, Orchestrator/MID Server and Discovery;
  • Very good understanding of the ServiceNow data models;
  • Good understanding of web development technologies used in ServiceNow: JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Webservices API (SOAP or REST), AJAX, JSON, XML JQuery, AngularJS, and Bootstrap experience;
  • At least 2 year of ServiceNow experience in administration/development;
  • Experience working with ServcieNow modules/processes aforementioned in §2;
  • Prior full life cycle implementation experience, at least 2 implementations/upgrades;
  • Prior experience integrating other software systems with ServiceNow;
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices;
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator;
  • ITILv3 certification(s);
  • Ability to write technical notes in English;
  • Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
  • Good communication skills ;
  • Quick learning ability is required, being organized, versatile and a results-oriented team player;
  • Experience in providing support for enterprise environment;
  • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies and environments

Assets:

  • ServiceNow Certified Developer;
  • PowerShell skills;
