Description
System Administrator - 3rd Level Support (Citrix Environment) wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or professional certifications
- Working experience in financial industry or similar environment
- Background with products supporting/building Citrix XenApp in large-sized organizations with a strong affinity towards automated deployment and operations
- Proven track record working with multiple infrastructure technologies, such as Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop, Citrix PVS, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Netscaler, AppSense and VMware applications
- Know-how with application deployment via SCCM, AppSense, AppV, AppVolumes technologies
- Proficiency in writing technical documentation besides Powershell scripting or coding for automation
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing 3rd level support besides acknowledging and supporting the escalations from 1st and 2nd level support teams
- Managing troubleshoot User issues in the Citrix Environment
- Maintaining and improving systems enhancements, test and roll out in entire system and network infrastructure
- Monitoring usage and performance, troubleshoot server, software and hardware issues
- Identifying complexity and feasibility of new or changed demands within specified architecture
- Defining platform requirement sizing, network and controlling components, and system software
- Ability to work outside business hours in a 24x5 shift, including some weekends, and be available for on-call duties
