Splunk Admin/Contractor
The job holder will:
- Installing and maintaining Real Time Monitoring platform for optimal performance via highly-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services;
- Responsible for the operational availability of the Real Time Monitoring Platform;
- Setting up and maintaining efficient monitoring of the platform with automatic remediation and incident creation;
- Supporting data on boarding according to business requirements;
- Working in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development (UI builder, developer, architect and product owner).
Experience & Competences]
- Strong experience with SPLUNK platform deployments on AWS and on premise hosting (any certification appreciated);
- Strong experience in operations (incident management, crisis management, communication, continuous improvements)
- Proven track record working in Agile
- Mastering of at least one monitoring platform (SPLUNK)
- Great knowledge on Linux OS, in OS automation (Ansible Tower, Puppet, Chef, etc ), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernet, openshift) and Cloud orchestration (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc )
- Knowledge development in Python, Powershell, Linux scripts, LDAP interface
- Advanced level of English
- Advanced level of French would be appreciated
Measures of success and outputs
The role will be measured by the following business measures:
- Real Time Monitoring platform availability and performance
- Infrastructure optimizations (KPI on the capacity, on infrastructure usage/costs and license usage/costs)
- KPI on demand management (speed to deliver)
The role will have the following key outputs:
- Identify, propose and implement infrastructure evolutions
- Operational excellence via automation, automatic remediation and automatic incident creation
- A comprehensive and world class dev ops capability including ways of working, tools and centre of excellence
