Looking for Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

Scope: Implementation of Oracle Financials for India (OFI) GST solution on existing Oracle configuration R12.1.3 (went live 2 years ago, but stopped usage due to local tax changes which current integrated system architecture couldn't handle) mainly based in Mumbai - 35/40% on site, 60/65% from home.

  • Main Tasks
    • Gather business requirement around Tax calculations (already documents in place) and mapping to India Tax solutions in Oracle
    • Functional design for interface changes from bespoke operational system to handle multiple tax lines per order line:
      • This concerns an AP and AR invoice
      • The scope also includes full P2P in Oracle.
    • Support local reporting requirements (Standard Oracle, create SQL, leverage BI tools)
    • Setup, testing, local training etc.
  • Go-Live April 1st.
  • Start Jan 8th. Initial contract for 3 months, but potentially extension 1 month for after Go-Live support, report creation etc.
  • Resource should have done at least one successful GST implementation.
  • On site presence needed, but probably not all the time (to be aligned with local business)
  • Local India resource will be supported by Internal Oracle EBS consultants, Project Manager and development will be done by partner.
