Description
We are working with a large financial client, to source a highly skilled Splunk Architect to support USPS CISO projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Design, performance, implementation and capacity of the Splunk platform.
- Providing senior support for system admins, content managers, and service engineers to ensure the best possible delivery of Splunk best practices and standards related to each job function.
- Platform Architecture and Capacity planning
- Platform Upgrade and Optimization
- Serve on Change Control Review Board
- End-to-End Technical oversight between technology add-ons and knowledge objects
- Manage Technical Data Governance (Security, Retention Policy, Access Controls, Standards, and Automation)
- Tier 3 support for all Splunk Admins and End Users
- Validates platform config changes, new data sources and knowledge objects like dashboards, reports
- Splunk Best Practices, Operation Plans, Workflows and Processes
- Oversee deployment and performance of the Enterprise Security Application for CISO
- Provide consulting and hands on support for the CISO Engineering team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of PCI and SOX guidelines and standards
- Certified Splunk Architect
- CISSP, Security+, or other relation information security certification required
Must have right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience with leading Project Management work streams
- Experience with leading Agile (Scrum Master) processes a plus
Educated to bachelor degree level (preferably in computer science, information security or related sciences)
