FPGA Engineer - 6m Contract - £50p/h - Tewkesbury
I am seeking a contract FPGA Engineer for a market leading technology client based in Tewkesbury on a six-month basis. My client is working with some of the most cutting-edge technologies that are producing life-saving products within electronic warfare and cyber security
*Please note - You must hold SC Clearance to be considered for this role*
Requirements:
VHDL particularly targeting Xilinx and Altera devices (including SoC devices)
Experience of achieving timing closure in complex, high speed designs targeted at large FPGA devices, developing timing constraints (xdc, sdc), using floorplanning where appropriate
Experience of designing robust designs in multi-clock domain systems
Digital design including interfacing to hardware, peripherals and processors - DDR3/4, PCIe, 10GE etc
Ability to work with/develop constraints
Expertise with:
QuestaSim
Tcl Scripting
Xilinx ISE/Vivado and/or Altera Quartus
Mentor Graphics HDL Designer
Synthesis tools eg Synposys Synplify
Version control systems eg SVN, Git
Desirable experience:
DOORS requirements capture and requirement derivation
Knowledge of IP protocols and networking eg Ethernet, IPv4, TCP, iSCSI, HTTP
Integration of 3rd party IP cores
Developing in a security/crypto environment
Working knowledge of Verilog
Enterprise Architect UML
Experience of automated build Servers eg Bamboo
