Medior Network Engineer x2
Location: Amsterdam
Rate: €380 p/d
Length: 3 months + 12 month Extension
Job Role & Responsibilities:
My Client are seeking a technically literate, highly motivated Network Engineer. Whose role will be to work with the core operations team. There will be a number of projects, upgrades and "business as usual" support. One of the projects is the upgrade of the Operational Support Systems and Tools used by the NOC team.
Technical Skills.
- Knowledge about Unix/Linux, SQL-queries (Oracle, MySQL).
- Experience with network inventory systems or DCIM applications.
- LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet systems
- Low level network design
- Network implantation's
- Cisco knowledge
- Hands on experience with network equipment.
Day to Day
- Design, install, and maintain network hardware and software
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
- Determine network and system requirements.
- Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
