Description
A global client in west Dublin are seeking a Senior Performance Quality Assurance Engineer on an initial 9 month contract, to join a dynamic team who engage with delivery teams across the globe to Performance Test a wide variety of business-critical applications.
The Purpose of Your Role:
- Responsibility for delivering performance test projects from requirements analysis, Scripting and providing your recommendations to the project team
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to increase the scale and effectives of Performance Testing
- Elicit performance test requirements from Delivery Teams
- Author test plans and reports to identify and assess the performance health of the systems under test
- Work with software developers and architects to troubleshoot performance issues and identify/resolve root cause.
- Help in defining, implementing, and monitoring the processes and procedures that need to be put in place to resolve and avoid future performance issues
- Maintain status of projects, initiates discussions with stakeholders or external groups to resolve issues, works directly with the user community for project definition.
- Participate in the creation of the Performance test strategy and take responsibility for its implementation
Experience:
- 4+ Years Performance Testing Experience required
- Loadrunner & SOASTA Cloud Test experience is essential
- Knowledge of Dynatrace is an advantage
- Knowledge of web technologies, Client Server, .NET and database systems.
- Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, AIX and MS Windows Operating systems.
